Twenty five years ago, when employed by a builder as a part-time bookkeeper, I obtained my Real-Estate license, for the occasional use of sitting in a model home to greet customers for the full time sales person in the event of illness or vacation.

 

My first use of my license was to list and sell my inlaws home. As the realtor presented his offer, my lack of knowledge and experience soon became apparent to all.

 

This sales agent was Chuck Apligian. Instead of taking advantage in any way, Chuck took this opportunity to walk me through the process, teaching me as we went, helping me do the work of the listing agent. The respect he showed me, as well as his honesty and integrity impressed me deeply.

 

Several years later , I rescinded my Real Estate license in order to be trained as an escrow agent for Transamerica Title Co. My position with this company again brought me in contact with Mr Apligian.

 

Each of us a little older and wiser, I had the opportunity to work with Chuck often while I conducted closings for my clients, the listing agent, of properties Chuck had sold. I continued to be impressed, time and time again with the depth of his knowledge, his honesty and integrity. he never lost focus, of his true client the seller, while he worked with the buyers, insuring they be well informed so the closing would go smoothly.

 

When I decided to list my residence, I now relied on my own personal years of experience which included virtually thousands of closings with hundreds of Realtors. I called Chuck, expecting to receive the same diligence as I had seen display while he worked for others. I was not disappointed. I relied on Chuck's experience to help us get our home ready for sale, My home sold quickly.

Chuck worked hard to find us a home of our choice. He never pushed us into a higher price range. He always made himself available to see homes. We found our home, and through this process my respect for Chuck grew. Again, his integrity throughout the process was apparent. I have , through the years recommended Chuck to friends and family, with the confidence that his knowledge of every aspect of the business, regardless of the size of the transaction, would serve them well. He never failed to provide them with the same degree of honesty, integrity and good old friendliness that I had experienced.

 

Now we intend to list our current homes with Chuck. I am certainly glad that I am able to do business with a man of such high caliber.
